Mt.Popa, an extinct volcano appears to be a single peak from a
distance, it is in fact a series of peaks; the highest points
being 4981, 4801 and 4501 feet above sealevel. Popa today is one
of the most popular pilgrimage spots in the country. One would
need to spend a sizeable amount of time in order to unearth the
spiritual and legendary wealth of this sacred mountain. Popa is
popularly recognized as an abode of many "Nats" (spirits of
ancient ancestors) who dwell in various parts of the mountain.

Leave Yangon to
Bagan by the morning flight. After arrival start Bagan
sightseeing
( Lacquerware work shop, Market, 11th century Shwezigon Pagoda,
Arnandar Temple,
Nyaung Oo Market , etc..). Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 2 Bagan
– Sale (Salay) – Mt.Popa
After breakfast
leave to Sale. After arrival Sale sightseeing( Yoke sone
Monestry,
Local Market, etc..). And then leave to Mt.Popa in the
afternoon. Sightseeing at
Mt.Popa in the evening and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 3
Mt.Popa – Yangon
Leave Mt.Popa
to Yangon by the evening flight.
