TM-006 Yangon/Bagan /Mandalay/Sagaing/Mingun/Kyaing Tong/Inle/ Yangon

Day 1 Arrival Yangon

  • Arrive Yangon International Airport. Meet with the Local Tour Guide and transfer to Hotel.

  • Afternoon sightseeing to Bogyoke Aung San (Scott ) Market, Photo stop at Karaweik Hall( A Royal Barge built in a shape of Hamsa Bird) at Kandaw Lake, Sule Pagoda, World famous Shwedagon Pagoda & China Town.

  • Overnight at hotel.

Day 2 Yangon - Bagan

 
  • After breakfast, flight to Bagan, sightseeing ancient Bagan.

  • Highlights include Nyaung Oo Market, 11th century Shwezigon Pagoda, Kyansitthar U Min, Gubyuakgyi temple & Lacquerware workshop.

  • Visit Ananda Temple, Thatbyinnyu Temple, Damayangyi Temple.

  • Enjoy the sunset at Bupaya Pagoda or Shwe San Daw Pagoda.

  • Overnight at hotel.

Day 3 Bagan - Mandalay

  • After breakfast, flight to Mandalay Airport. After arrival, drive to Amarapura and visit Mahagandayon Monastery- attend daily meal of thousands of monks, Silk hand weaving workshop and U Bein Bridge (built with teak logs), to see the surrounding area of a local village,

  • Proceed to Sagaing. A place for Buddhist devotees and home to more than 3000 monks and many meditation centre.

  • Visit U Bein Bridge for unforgettable sunset on the way to Mandalay.

  • Overnight at hotel.

Day 4 Mingun - Mandalay

 
  • After breakfast, Transfer to Jetty.

  • Take a boat along Ayeyarwaddy River to Mingun (approx. 45 Mins)

  • Visit Mingun Pahtotawgyi; huge unfinished pagoda, Mingun Bell- world’s largest uncracked bell, and Sinphyumashin Pagoda.

  • Back to Mandalay.

  • Sightseeing includes Mahamuni Pagoda, Shwe Nandaw (Golden Palace) wooden Monastery, Mandalay Palace, Kuthodaw Pagoda – known as the world’s largest book made of marble.

  • Enjoy sunset at Mandalay hill.

  • Overnight at hotel.

Day 5 Mandalay- Kyaing Tong

 
  • After breakfast, flight to Kyaing Tong Airport.

  • Visit Wan-Pauk, the village of the red clothed Palaung with silver and lacquered waist-bands.

  • Overnight at hotel.

Day 6 Kyaing Tong

 
  • After breakfast, Visit to Kyaing Tong North direction Kat Tauk area Pin Tauk –Wan Ping village and then treeking to see Akha with silver headdress & Ann tribes with black teeth.

  • Picnic lunch at Pin-Tauk Water-fall.

  • A brief stop to see Wan Kan villagers making Sake' Rice Wine in traditional process.

  • From Kat Tauk turn to visit Wan Lau village's hand-making "Saa-pulp" Shan Paper Works.

  • Overnight at hotel.

Day 7 Kyaing Tong

 
  • After breakfast, drive to 5542 feet high Loi-mwe mountain blanketed with misty, peaceful and walk around old British colonial governor's houses, hill top lake, cherry and peach wine shops & old Catholic Church.

  • Short-cut treeking from the road to Ho-latt Akha village, Naung-cho Wa village & Pang-wai Lahu village.

  • Overnight at hotel.

Day 8 Kyaing Tong- Inle

 
  • After breakfast, Visit to the huge Kyaing Tong Market.

  • Late afternoon, flight to Heho airport.

  • Transfer to Naung Shwe and take a boat to Inle.

  • Dinner and Overnight stay at Inle Lake.

Day 9 Inle

  • Excursion to Inle Lake : Witnessing Intharr’s(Native People of Inle lake) Native method of by conical-net fishing, Floating gardens, Floating Islands, Floating Market(if coincide with Market day), Paung-Daw-Oo Pagoda ,Nga Phe Chaung (Jumping Cats) Monastery, Weaving village, Visit Padaung Tribe people.

Day 10 Inle - Yangon

 
  • After breakfast, transfer to airport.

  • Fly back to Yangon. Visit National Museum.

  • Sunset cocktail Cruise in Yangon River.

  • Overnight at hotel.

Day 11 Yangon

 
  • Free at leisure.

  • Transfer to airport for international departure.

  • End your journey and leave Myanmar.
